After touring England, Scotland and Ireland, I attended the  Historical Novel Society Writer's Conference in London September 5-7, 2014. "Lovely," as they say to be the only American in the top 6 finalists to receive an award for my historical short story "The Holdup".   



Of course, I'm the one in the new baseball hat -- from Scotland. Verra cool!   Returned home to find a book contract offer from The Wild Rose Press. Kissing the Blarney Stone paid off! Begorra!
