A Season of Acceptance

Prentice Hall's Literature Textbook for  High School  contains stories by Kipling, Hemingway, Bradbury, O. Henry, Asimov,  and CJ Fosdick's  'A Season of Acceptance'...a Christmas story about  a young girl's relationship with her crotchety grandfather and the spitting, orphaned llama she raised. The story was also picked up by the Galaxy Textbook and by Seventeen Magazine after winning the First Annual Fiction Contest sponsored by the Rochester Post Bulletin, originally known as "Llama Bells."




Rochester Sesquicentennial Catalog

CJ Fosdick chaired an Author's Bookfair and compiled and published a catalog of Minnesota writers from 1866-- (which also included books about Minnesota) for Rochester's 2004
Sesquicentennial Anniversary.  Author photos, brief bios, contacts, and their works are listed for 150 profiles.

 Far West Magazine

   "My Father's House," was about a half breed Indian returning in 1874 to visit the St. Louis orphanage where he was educated.  He learns at last the identity of his famous white father.  The story was a catalyst for the historical fiction, "THE CALLING STONE," an excerpt before the fact.

  Rochester Post Bulletin  


One of several historical articles that CJ was contracted to write for the newspaper's special 150th anniversary of the city's founding.   As a PB contributor, she has also written other features, editorials, and reviews as well as specials for their HOME magazine addition.
